Required: Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Department Manager – Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Managing and implementing the daily work in the department.
- Managing employees and supervising contractors in the field, in accordance with company procedures and safety procedures, recruiting, training, and mentoring and providing feedback to employees.
- Work plan – building a weekly, monthly, and annual work plan and responsibility for implementing the plan.
- Responsibility for the availability of spare parts and setting minimum stock in the field of electricity, instrumentation, and control.
- Updating and writing work procedures and maintenance instructions in the department’s area of responsibility.
- Updating and managing technical material, drawings, and specifications and storing them in the database.
- Responsibility for the proper functioning and availability of equipment and electrical infrastructure, handling malfunctions, monitoring and managing malfunctions, and performing maintenance as required.
- Determining principles of professional policy in the field of electricity, instrumentation, and control, including professional representation of OPC to external entities such as various authorities and the Israel Electric Corporation.
- Ensuring and complying with the requirements of the Electricity Law in all activities at the station.
- Producing reports for control and analysis of events on the department’s activities and performance indicators.
- Preparing root cause analysis (RCA) for malfunctions in the department’s area of responsibility and providing solutions to failures.
- Service – towards various interfaces in the station: operation/mechanical department/safety, etc., quickly and professionally while maintaining proper working relationships.
- Budget – building an annual budget and meeting targets, contracts with suppliers in the field, and procurement.
- Projects – initiating and managing ongoing projects and savings and efficiency projects in the department’s field.
Job requirements:
- Electrical Engineer – High Voltage.
- High level of Hebrew – mandatory.
- High level of English (including technical) – mandatory.
- Experience in the field of mechanical maintenance in power plants – a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications (OFFICE) – mandatory.
- Proficiency in SAP software – an advantage.
- Availability for full-time work with willingness to be on call when needed.
OPC ENERGY is seeking a Safety Manager for the power plant in Hadera.
Responsibilities include all work processes in the areas of safety and emergency in the plant.
- Training and certification of employees.
- Managing the safety routine in the plant.
- Accompanying and supervising internal and external work.
- Working closely with the operation and maintenance personnel in the plant.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Safety Manager at Work on behalf of the Ministry of Labor and eligibility on behalf of the Chief Labor Inspector in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.
- Ability to work in a team, initiative and independence, personal responsibility, assertiveness and personal reliability.
- Proven relevant experience is required.
- High-level English.
- Preference for those certified as a Natural Gas Safety Manager.
OPC ENERGY is seeking a Control Room and Field Operator for its power plants in Hadera.
The role includes responsibility for full control of systems that generate electricity and steam, maintaining station availability, overseeing routine operations and functioning in emergency situations, striving to reduce potential risks of system failures, and maintaining the company’s reputation (production continuity).
The work takes place in a shift format, 24/7 – including holidays and Saturdays.
Job Requirements:
* Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Water Systems / Instrumentation & Control.
Preference will be given to experience in one of the following areas:
* Several years of practical experience as an operator in a process-heavy industry – including familiarity with rotating equipment and heavy equipment or working with steam systems.
* Technical background, experience working with pumps / filters / fans, the ability to read drawings and technical literature.
* Former employees in maintenance or operations roles in naval units, technical units, or the Air Force.
The training period is paid and will last approximately 6-8 months, and will include professional training and certifications, safety training and certifications, and additional training required to perform the role.
