OPC-Energy is looking for a Maintenance Manager for the power plant in Plugot Junction.
The role requires overall responsibility for the planning, management, and execution of all maintenance activities in the power plant on all its systems (mechanical, electrical, and control) while maintaining maximum availability, reliability, and safety and compliance with regulatory requirements, budget, and schedules.
As part of the role:
- Ongoing management of the maintenance field – leading preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance activities. Planning and execution of planned shutdowns and prioritizing maintenance tasks according to criticality, cost, and benefit.
- Team and resource management – professional and personal management of the maintenance team, including work with external contractors.
- Budgetary control – managing the current maintenance budget and investment projects, identifying savings and efficiency opportunities.
- Safety and regulation – responsibility for implementing safety, quality, and environmental quality procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements, including preparation for external audits.
- System and infrastructure improvement – analysis of failures and malfunctions (RCA) and implementation of system solutions, leading technical upgrade projects of equipment and systems.
- Information and reporting systems – use and maintenance of a CMMS computerized maintenance management system, production of performance reports, trends, and maintenance for management.
Job requirements:
- Mechanical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in maintenance in heavy industry/energy – mandatory.
- Proven managerial experience of technical teams.
- Familiarity with power generation systems (turbines, generators, boilers, auxiliary systems).
- Proficiency in computer systems and ERP/CMMS systems.
- Good level of technical English – mandatory.
