OPC ENERGY
The power plant in Mishor Rotem (15 minutes south of Dimona) requires an Instrumentation and Control Technician.
To work on the instrumentation and control systems in the power plant, while maintaining high availability, safety, and operational efficiency in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Performing maintenance activities in the field of instrumentation and control in the power plant, including troubleshooting equipment, preventive and planned maintenance, calibration of process equipment such as: pressure, temperature, flow transmitters, controlled valves, vibration meters, analytical equipment (pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, gas detectors).
- Performing logical operations on process computers for the purpose of identifying faults and changes according to process requirements.
- Performing backups and troubleshooting hardware in process computers.
- Maintenance responsibility in the HMI (Human Machine Interface) – updating screens, graphics, etc.
- Performing various projects in the plant from the initiation stage to implementation for improvement and efficiency in the areas of control and instrumentation.
- Working with various interfaces in the plant: operations, electricity, mechanics, safety, information systems departments, professionally while providing fast service.
- Performing actions for cyber protection at the plant.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as an instrument technician in an industrial plant or power plant.
- Familiarity and use of calibration equipment such as BEAMEX, HART, etc.
- Familiarity with various communication protocols such as MODBAS, MODBAS+, ETHERNET, TCPIP, etc.
- Familiarity, knowledge, and experience with CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems).
- Familiarity, knowledge, and experience in a PI, ERP-SAP and OFFICE work environment (advantage).
- Electrician license – advantage.
- Graduate of a Technician/Practical Engineer degree in a relevant field.

- Ability to work in a team in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Ability to solve technical problems in real time and work under pressure.
- Willingness and availability for overtime as needed.
Languages and Applications:
- High level of Hebrew; Technical English – advantage.

Process Engineer for Rotem Power Station
Job Purpose:
Comprehensive responsibility for managing the overall process including water, steam, oil, and fuel quality at the power plant.
Management of the chemical laboratory.
Leads efficiency processes – identifying areas that need improvement or development.
Coordinates the field of environmental quality at the station.
Professional mentor for operator training and certification processes.
Management reserve in the station and company.
Responsibilities:
- Managing water/steam/oil/diesel qualities and compliance with process parameters.
- Responsible for toxins and compliance with the toxin permit.
- Managing the chemical laboratory and producing chemical reports.
- Promoting LEAN processes to improve operations.
- Mentoring and training operating teams.
- Preparing work plans and budget, and monitoring performance.
- Performing regulatory checks and updating procedures.
- Working with consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
- Meeting environmental quality and water quality requirements.
- Meeting availability, reliability, and efficiency targets.
Authorities:

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
