OPC ENERGY is looking for a Control Room & Field Operator for its power plants in Rotem Plain.

The role includes responsibility for full control of the systems that generate electricity and steam, maintaining station availability, overseeing routine operations and functioning in emergency situations, striving to reduce potential risks of system failures, and maintaining the company’s reputation (production continuity).

The work is carried out in shifts, 24/7 – including holidays and Saturdays.

Job Requirements:

* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Water Systems / Instrumentation & Control)

Advantage will be given to experience in one of the following areas:

* Practical experience of several years in a process industry – heavy, as an operator – including knowledge of rotating equipment and heavy equipment or work with steam systems.
* Technical background, experience working with pumps / filters / fans, ability to read drawings and technical literature.
* Former roles in the maintenance or operation of Navy, Technical Corps, or Air Force units.

The training period is paid and will last approximately 6-8 months. It will include professional training and certifications, safety training and certifications, and additional training required to perform the role.
